Darkest Dungeon Leper Miniature?
« on: 19 February 2016, 11:16:07 PM »
Anyone got any idea where to start to get or start a conversion to get a miniature that looks like this guy from Darkest Dungeon? Key features being mask and hood combat and some heavy armour underneath.

I am thinking you might need to convert and existing fig. What scale are you looking at?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

28mm, so I've got a wide selection to choose from.

I might grab a Roman legionnaire and see if I can't find a fitting head which I can greenstuff some cloth onto.

You can try to use some of these guys. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=22425.795

Or get some bits from the plastic Empire great Swords men. That might be the easiest rout, because some of them have thy armor, and you can then just make a mummy wrapped head using a zombie head as the base.

What other minis will you use with him?

Some of the old Griffin Minis from Confrontation might work as a starting point, like him for example:

Eschelius the Ardent

Or one of these:

A nun miniature would probably work for the head portion.

Mlaifaux's 'Witchling Stalkers' have some pieces that might fit, like broken blades, and long robes. They new plastics are multipart and not too expensive, although they will require some work:
