Products from the KS keep on popping on Dust Studio's website yet the campaign backers are still waiting for the pledges to be fully delivered.

Two years late and complete silence since last December from both companies.
Last update announced that they had reach an agreement and promised that the production of the various missing items would take about 120 days.
I guess the decided to sell them online instead of shipping them to those who already paid for it...

Selling to public before supplying KS backers is getting more common  it seems.
The ex Rackham team behind the "Drakerys" game KS have just announced they will be selling direct at Gencon before any backers have received their pledges.

Another one of the "warning signs" to account when considering which KS projects to back in future.

I can understand that a basic core box can reach retail before it reaches the backers because it's simpler to distribute a single boxed game to a large number of retailers that completing each and every unique KS orders as each one is different, but when it comes to stretch goals and optional add-ons, I think that backers should be supplied first since they funded the production in the first place.

Well Dust is quite deadish around me... No one wants even to try it. Not to mention this KS fiasco I am also part of. Still have a lot to recieve. If at all we will recieve something. But those two companies - Battlefront and Dust will never ever have a cent from my money!

Now turns out that Dust studios haven't actually shipped anything out yet as part of Wave 3 due to another dispute with Battlefront regarding supplying KS stuff to MM in the US! Lot of mud slinging going on, on the various FB pages. Absolutely unbelievable. I think DS have really dropped the ball now.

DS is trying to bring back some shine to their already tarnished image by pretending that they're holding the stock for the backers and to prevent it from being sold to an online store, but at this point they just look like they're just holding the stock from the backers once again. Do we even know if the stock is actually ready to go? With them it's "the stock is on the boat" one day and then it's "the stock is still in the warehouse waiting for yet another agreement" the next day.

With so many KS projects outsourcing their miniature production to the DS factory, business is still booming, so who cares if their own KS backers have to wait a little bit more. What's a few more months after two years?

Miniature market has ALL of their DUST stuff marked out of stock so maybe their "Dust exclusives" deal blew up. I don't see anyone else online retailing the game. I think if you want Dust now you go to the Dust site or ebay.

CMON sent out their main box sets of Zombicide Black Plague so they landed before Christmas of 2015. Seemed like a classy move. I think the rest of the stuff landed in may of 2016.

Miniature market has their Dust stuff marked back in stock. I guess it was a "temporary pause" sort of thing.

Is there a summary or timeline of all of the Dust related drama? I wasn't following it at the time and it's a bit confusing to figure out what happened.

Here's a rough timeline of this whole mess:
05/20/2014 - The Kickstarter is launched
06/09/2014 - The kickstarter is funded
09/03/2014 - The pledge manager is finally opened
12/04/2014 -  Wave 1 is shipped
02/2015 -  Trouble starts between both companies who accuse one another of going back on who is supposed to pay for the "freebies".
05/2015 - Wave 2 is shipped which constitutes parts of the paid stretch goals. The freebies are still in dispute.
12/2015 - An agreement as finally been reached and production of the missing items will finally starts
08/2016 - Final wave of items is on the boat

The rules may be evolving but I'm not as sure about the miniatures. But then again, I suppose there has been a lack underboob bikini bimbos with bazookas in the minis line tho so... o_o
