I think it looks pretty great actually!! The snow looks really great IMHO
Thanks LordOdo but it looks a bit grainy to me.
That looks like a lot of the snows I saw as a kid! Pretty cool piece of scenery to my eyes!
Praise indeed - I'm beginning to see it in a different light....

thanks Joe.
It looks just fine to me, mate.
A great bit of scenery.

If you want to try livening it up a bit make a paste out of white paint, PVA and bicarbonate of soda and make a few patches of it and then sprinkle neat soda. over it to test the 'look'.
If you like it: Splash it all over!

Paul - have you used that? I'll give it a try in patches and see how it looks. Thanks for the comments.
Slushy and nasty...Perfect!
Nasty is what I wanted so I appreciate that
Very cool...at least you were brave enough to go with Snow...I bottled it.
Giles, I bottled using some of the many interesting recipes for snow that have been suggested here and opted for sand and pva, hoping that a wash and some dry brushing would make it look like snow. Still not sure.
Better snow than I can do mate - nice bit of work!
Oh, and nice five inchers too
Well thanks, jp but I doubt if it's better than your snow. Glad you like my 5 inchers although one has suffered a radical dysfunction and is now a mere 3 incher.
I'm glad to have received so many positive comments and I'd be lying if I didn't say I was hoping people would like the effect more than I do. It's definitely a useable bit of scenery and looks OK but if I do any more, I'll be trying a different snow technique. I think Mason's baking soda may get a go next. It's not liable to explode is it Paul?

Anyway, I'll round off with a couple more shots:

The mausoleum, sarcophagus and dragon statue are all separate so the nature of the piece can be altered by using different items.
