“It the end of the world as we know it”.
So myself and Mike decided we’d have to satisfy our love for zombie games by playing an opener game on what could end up a multi-player campaign. We both have a like for the 7TV rules and so we used ZTV with slight modifications to the characters and casting.  The area was very small (a mars attack mat and so Mike’s force consisted of a Natural Leader and a co-star cop; both had basic profiles and the add-on can be bought at a later date as upgrades with a point system we figured out on the fly (we made it up as we went along) ;D.

The layout, the red pawns were zombie cards and the black pawns were scavenge cards (this was the other way round in the second game (told you we were making it up as we went along)) :D. And D3 zombies appeared on a mat edge at the end of each turn rotating clock wise. Looks easy for the heroes.

The cop co-star gets out to check out the abandoned car.

Zombies start to appear in numbers (well there was only fourteen of them).

Our two heroes lock themselves in a building to escape the growing zombie hordes and escape out the back door. And head to the next building.

Getting into the building the heroes find two more survivors (the scientist doesn’t last long, the little girl does) one guards the survivors while the other heads for the police car. He gets to the police car runs over a couple of the zombies and stops at the building where the others make a dash for the car. Unfortunately the scientist becomes zombie food.

It was a good small game and the rules worked very well on such a small scale, we have since played a second game and Mike hopefully be posting a report and pictures. All we need now is to expand to include more groups and keep the campaign going.
