Dredd East Meg re-enforcements
« on: 21 March 2016, 03:47:48 PM »
Are there any other Dredd players here who can clarify what happens with the East Meg Judge with the rocket launcher? Rockets launchers aren't mentioned in the most recent rulebook as purchasable weapons for East Meg Judges in their gang list, has anyone seen if separate/new rules/cred cost have been released for it? I did check Mongoose publishing forum/news, but no mention couldn't even see the new models on their site to buy :P

There is probably a pdf or similar in the works.

Well that post was a year ago, hope it doesn't take a year to stipulate what it takes to add a rocket launcher to your gang XD

Things move slowly in Mongoose.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Mongoose have a deal with Warlord similar to the ones manufacturers have with Northstar so they don't sell some things on their site now.

There is probably a pdf or similar in the works.

I picked up the new East Meggers (and new citi-def dudes, and Max Normal and...) using the GBP25 voucher I received as an incentive for subscribing to Wargames Illustrated.  I don't see these new additions on the Mongoose website, but it looks like they still sell stuff direct there. With little effort I got my order above the threshold for free postage which was applied before the voucher was taken into account so I 'saved' on that as well.

Delightfully, the JDMG pricing structure, at least at Warlord, has improved with the new packs of three miniatures going for GBP10 (same as the recently released civilian packs) and the two pack of Max and a perp at holding post being GBP6.  Less delightfully, the old pricing structure of GBP5 for an individual miniature and GBP10 for a two pack has been retained for the older miniatures.

As for using 'em, I am considering going with the rocket launcher rules for the citi-def force, at least in the short term.

Hope this helps.
