IHMN at Hammerhead and Triples
« on: 22 March 2016, 01:36:20 PM »
Having just finished the first two shows of our season, I thought I'd share some views of the fastplay game... Please excuse the quality....

Hammerhead at Newark Racecourse was the busier of the two, where the American model of only participation games being allowed has made it one of the strongest shows in the Midlands. Triples in Sheffield was pretty quiet though our table never ceased to be buzzing over the two days it is on.

We have also tried a new card system for stats, not available for Hammerhead as the cards printed out without weapons data.

We will be taking the game to Salute, then Partizan, Stoke Challenge, the other Partizan, Hereward and Derby.

2: Data Sheet examples for the Imperial Nights Watch, Ripper Street and the Okhrana
3: A 4 way tussle between the 40 Thieves, the Japanese Imperial Army, a Sasquatch of the NWMP and the City police.
4: One of the final games on Sunday in full flow...

Splendid selection of figures and terrain. Are those the Bluemoon civilians in the middle picture ?.

Thanks for the compliments

The figures with cobblestone bases are Blue Moon, the remainder with sand bases are mainly a mix of Ironclad, Foundry amongst others.

The boards (called Anime for some reason) are from Games and Gears and the buildings from Caliver Books terrain ranges (which are pretty extensive).

Feldwebel Osman from the Imperial Nights Watch?  I am in the process of painting him for Salute :)

I shall have to get along to one of your games. The quality of the setup is really something to aim for.

Thanks for the comments.

For Salute, we have some new factions which include the Ancients of Kaled, the Martians, the League of Southern Gentlemen and the Totenkopf... We will be at stand GL15 near the GCN banner.

I'll hopefully be dropping of the Wild West Show Figures from my Kickstarter for you as well and the first painted Cog Division Figure.

You have MY admiration for running anything so involved and appearing to have a good time at it.

Well done!

Hi Richard

Whilst I was unable to complete the Wild West Show (they will make an appearance at Partizan with the Ottomans) we do have Colonel White of the LOSG mounted on one of your deluxe steam horses. They actually work very well with Dixons figures (no saddle moulded on!).
