Barzso 54 mm Couer De Bois
« on: 12 April 2016, 09:09:43 AM »
I block painted these Barzso Couer de Bois and used the AP soft tone to bring out the detail. The figures were attached to 1 x 2 inch metal stands and terrained with my "forest" mix. I'm very pleased with these. I have Rangers done and may post them later on.

Wow! Those are some animated poses...I love the guy in the first photo on the far right. He looks like a woodsman!

What rules are you using for games with them? Or are these just for collecting?

Hi Mike, I do not game just create dioramas for my own amusement. I've got some bitchin' Mowhaks and Hurons painted up, along with Roger Rangers and a couple of Civilian Militias.

Here are some Rangers I converted and painted. I also made the forest which you see in the background.

Those look great...or "bitchin'", if you please... lol

Now, the obvious rejoinder: How'd you make the birch trees?

Mike. The trees themselves are made from different thicknesses of floral wire, white floral wrap tape and a fine point black magic marker.
Bend the armatures from the wire. Wrap the floral tape around the wire. Use the black marker to draw in those black lines.

That's it.
