I want to show my cart and cannon limber I have made for my small Landsknecht army.

Cart is from Perry miniatures with some added elements to make it fit more the landsknecht-theme of my army.

Cannon limber is scratch-build from primarily a GW cannon and matchsticks.

Hello Garder,

Great unit you have there a job well done.

You write that the limber is selfmade? Could you do a tutorial or maybe post a few WIP pictures?

Cheers,

Henerius

Thanks for the nice replies  :)

The landsknecht was suppose to be wounded but I guess a landsknecht sleeping of a hangover is more in keeping with the theme.

The cannon limber is very simple. The two wheels from the GW plastic cannon is mounted on an axel made from a matchstick. A longer piece of matchstick was glued at a right angle to the axel. This is in one end connected to the yoke, the other (shorter) end had the tip of a cocktail pin glued on top, where the gun is connected. A short bit of matchstick was glued next to the axel on top of which a box (from a WW2 tank storage kit) was glued on. The dolphins and rings from the GW cannon was added, and finish... Unfortunately I have no WIP pictures, but it really is very very simple.

Very characterful. The roadside sign is also nice.

Excellent work, some marching crew would finish it nicely perhaps?
