So I'm actually already starting to assemble bits (in my head) to create a modern/old plastic/metal hybrid Warwalker... God.  Dammit.  >:(

Here is the army all in one go...

Thanks!  Infantry are probably 80% done.  Vehicles have a way to go (bikes, vypers, wraithlords, fire prism, maybe a Falcon...possibly another Wave Serpent etc.) And I will probably do a Wraithknight converted over to a "Towering Destroyer Knight" from 2nd ed. armorcast.

One of two dreadnoughts I finished.  Decided to strip down the other one and re-do it as I didn't care for the way it turned out.

And more...re-painted the entire second dreadnought and finally figured out a scheme I liked for my Swooping Hawks.

Those Hawks work really well. I think I've only ever seen them in bright colours. The muting works a treat  8)

The dreadnoughts look good. They look to be the older metal and not plastic. The Swooping Hawks are great. Just reminds me of them hopping over my chaos forces dropping those damnable grenades.

The dreads are definitely the old metal chunky ones (plastic magnetized weapons).  The Hawks aren't as dark as they appear in the pics but they're definitely a darker tone than the normal bright blue.  Might get a little bit more painting in today.

Another squad of Dark Reapers (as if I need 10!?).  There is a fifth waiting on a missile launcher to arrive.  What do people in the US use for going over decals?  I never add them normally but these guys needed something to stand out.  I know there are coatings people apply to remove shine from the decals etc. - any opinions?

I went for a more traditional colour scheme on these guys.  It'll have to grow on me or they'll end up in the Super Clean again!  lol

This army is coming together really nicely.
 :-* :-*

I had a 2nd edition Eldar army back in the day so it is really nice to see this come together.

I keep thinking I'm nearing completion...and then realize I'm not.

Still to do:
-More support platforms
-Bikes (likely Shining Spears and a Farseer or Warlock)
-Vypers
-Falcon or two
-Wraithguard
-Exarchs
-Another Warlock or two on foot
-Possibly some Eldar Pirates
-Wraithknight to convert into a old Revenant Titan (or Towering Destroyer Knight)

I'm working through my models pretty quickly though.  Just dipped my first Phoenix Lord but ya'll don't get to see him until he's done!  lol

All looking pretty good, but you seem to have forgotten to attach flags to the barrels of the Hawks' rifles...

I wish I had the skill/patience to add a bunch of banners to these guys, but alas they store easier without them...and I'm lazy.

Speaking of lazy: Karandras.

into...

Continuing alternate colours since I really never cared for green/bright green colours.  I don't know if I've ever used a Phoenix Lord (I think I had Maugan Ra back in the day...) so this guy will mostly be serving as a normal Scorpion Exarch since I'm not overly fond of those basic models.  He appears much nicer at table-top height than up close, but overall I'm happy with it.  Also fits much better on a 30mm base than the 25's (the Phoenix Lords are large figures and tend to hang over the edges of 25mm bases).
