'Ullo all,
I've got a wee update for my 6mm thread!
I've been having lots of fun designing and printing things recently for the shop, but I've also been tinkering with 6mm bits and realised that simple 6mm infantry are well within my ability.
First batch are some baldy fellas - I've got an army on the go at the moment with these, some small mechs and some cobra H.I.S.S tanks, so these guys are intended to have an 80s action toy vibe.

I've been looking at older 6mm ranges like GZGs for posing and idea (because I'm not up to the standard of modern 3D designed ranges like vanguards). A simple way (as above) to vary the pose is to make it clear the head is facing in different directions, which I think worked pretty well when based as a group.
More importantly, for this post, are the next chaps - little 6mmm vac-suits!

When GZG released all their Moongrunt stuff I was really inspired - it's a great opportunity to do some nice, bold colours *and* it's a pretty pure 'wargaming' project (i.e. I wouldn't get bogged down in RPG civilians like I do in all my other projects!), but it always seemed better suited to 6mm to me.
So here we have the start of 6mm Moon Wars - a wee test base. The actual basing is wrong - I need a new recipe because my 'glazing' basing style (like I do for desert) doesn't work.
I like all the colour schemes here - I think all white is pretty classic and the green looks good, but I think the first force will have the red and white. If I can find an easier yellow recipe I'll try all yellow too. I do like the look of the multi-scheme on one base though - may be an idea for a mercenary force in the future.
Next I need to design some vehicles - in my version of this setting heavy weapons are only vehicle mounted (hence the squad only having a squad level weapon) then buildings and scenario pieces.
