ACW Squirmishing project
« on: 17 May 2016, 09:50:26 PM »
In the hope to motivate myself to paint something since my painting mojo seems to went on vacations for a long period i decided to start a ACW squirmish Project, inspired by Mason.
I will be using mainly Perry and Foundry miniatures but probably adding a few others on the way if necessary.
Without much more words here are my ideas and the first 4 painted miniatures (done a long time ago):

About 20 to 30 infantry figures per side
8 or 10 cavalry mounted per side
10 dismounted cavalry per side
1 field gun plus crew per side
4 or 6 buildings (probably a mix from plastic and mdf)
2 or 3 wagons

And if the mood and the Money allows it a train station, railroad, locomotive and 1 or 2 carts.

Opinions and ideas are welcome. :)

That is certainly a good start, Rui.

Lets hope your mojo returns with a vengeance.
You are already four figures ahead of me in the painting stakes.
 :D

Oh, and sorry if I have influenced you into restarting this project.

I´ve been productive today.
A small encampment of 4 tents and some bases with trees.
Glued and sanded yesterday and painted today.

Thanks for the comments guys. :)

Paul, when i have the mood and time i´m very productive. The problem is i spend many days without doing nothing except working and resting and that removes the mood to continue.

Vidgrip, i´m planing to use 61-65 from Ganesha Games. I liked their system for the napoleonics and Romans. The problem is i dont game much.

Don, your threads are an inspiration to me. Keep them coming.
