Just to prove we're not a pair of Cowboys (see what I did there), me and Keith played the game out last night and it works well. Should give four players two hours of wargaming entertainment and so hopefully we can run it more than once if required 
At the end of the game it was honours even with the Texians taking the guns but the Mexicans dominating the high ground for the greater part of the game.
The Mexican infantry had a nasty habit of firing into the rear of their own troops and their cavalry done a bunk from the table in move one so there will be court marshals all around after the enquiry
