Yep, after examining them I'd simply say they're tall and thin 32-35's...now that's for Black Plague but I assume it will be very similar for Massive Darkness.

I think the monsters and critters will be suitable, but some of heroes will be too tall for some ranges indeed.

Yeah, I think the crittes are the raisins in the bun, in this case. The heroes are fairly bog-standard catering, I think. But that's only to be expected, I guess.

These days you can get all sorts of critters form Reaper in bones for a decent price, so this one requires careful thinking. The boardgame is a bonus of course.

If the game is any bit as good as Black Plague I actually won't be raiding this one for minis...(perhaps one or two of the large beasties if I can't resist).   The game itself should be hugely good.  Looks like it flew through a few more unlocks yesterday.

Yeah, I'll back this one. Probably only the main game, not the expansions but it looks too good to miss...

The expansions come as freebies I believe. Just things like fancy dice and counters are addons.

Well if the other CMON are anything to go by I think we'll see one or two optional expansions as add-ons maybe a bit later in the process.  Perhaps not.  I do enjoy the simpler pledge style.

Right, like the 5 player expansion in Blood Rage.
(I was thinking more, expansions at the moment are free and not thinking forward, duh me)

My standard I measure dungeon crawls against is, "Does it support me bringing in my other monster minis in addition to what they provide?  Like with a bestiary or roleplay book, a la Warhammer Quest?"

This one looks like another, "Just what we put in boxes for you," game.  It looks like a great deal, but it also doesn't look like the game that will scratch that 'modern day full-roleplay-book version of WHQ' itch I have.

I'd agree with you.  This will be my "dungeon crawl lite" option.  I played Black Plague last night with my brother (not a real full-on gamer) and he loved it...we already planned some quasi-campaign bits for it, as he wanted to keep playing.  So this'll be the perfect option for us when it arrives.  Definitely a friendlier/faster version for people who may not be hard core gamers etc.

Well, looks like a Zombicide: Black Plague crossover set has been unlocked.

Yep, I don't normally buy add-ons but I'll definitely grab that for $8.  Don't need any more heroes for Black Plague (lord they made too many!) but simply adding all the beasties into Massive Darkness is well worth that small bump in price.

At the current buy-in, if my prices are correct you're getting 136 miniatures for use...not including pillars, treasure chests etc.  Getting to add my 100+ BP baddies to the bunch is just silliness.  Should add a lot of replayability etc.

Yeah, that Black Plague-crossover is a must. So far my "don't do the add-ons" policy...  :'(
Beefcake, the Elementals is a 40 dollar add-on, and so far I've been able to resist... so far.
