I think much of the infamy was due to the pj on the box - it made his skull look very big and a tad daft. I also intend to use a very different colour-scheme than the 'original'.

His right arm fits very badly, btw, I have already had to re-glue it, and if it comes off again, I shall have to either pin it, or press some gs into the socket to get a better fit...

I decided to sculpt some flesh onto his face as the skull didn't really fit with the pictures of him from the old Undead Army Book.

It depends very much on, how lucky/unlucky the players are with their Activation Rolls. Take a look at the AARs on my blog, the pics should give a good impression, but I think that if you have 20-30 minion models, you should be able to cover most situations (most often you won't need that many, but things can get 'interesting').

Cool. Terrain elements work well. Practical and well painted without dominating the game.

My copy of the book arrived yesterday so I'm enjoying the read (I need more d20's). I already have a party of at least 4 in mind.

The rocks are actually real railroad ballast granite rocks  - we have a railroad running through here.
