Here our a few of the members of our D&D group that I painted up.

Next, an Elf Rogue and a Dragonborn Fighter:

Hope you enjoy!

Those are great!

I don't know if it's the lighting (or the inherent 'smoothing out'-effect of .jpg), but the Elf's face seems to have almost no contrasts - and judging by the other figures, I cannot quite believe that..?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Yeah, the pics are a bit washed out.  He does have some contrast, but it's not coming across well.  Thanks for the compliment!

I'm the one thanking, here - if you have more, please show!  ;)

I'm sure that as soon as more discover your thread, you'll hear more voices like mine.

Most people in here really enjoy seeing the work of others, which in turn encourages more people to show their stuff - which is really what a site like this is all about  :)

Nice work, stroblight :)

Have you got an "evil" party of characters, or have you just chosen unusual races, for the most part?

And which version of D&D are you playing?

I can’t say I love the Dragoonborn Warlord figure… It had nothing to do with the painting, which is excellent on all your figures, but the pose and proportion are odds. I really like the Dragonborn Fighter though.  :-*

Thanks for the comments everyone.

The group didn't set out to be evil, but it does look that way.  I agree about the dragonborn warlord...it's proportions are a bit off.  It was tough finding models to represent dragonborn and that was kind of a backup option.  On top of that, I had to do some conversions to match the weapons of the players.  I actually ended up swapping the shield arm from the fighter to go on the warlord.  The fighter then got the warlord models lefthand/closed fist (which didn't work out as well as I would have liked since each one now has a hand with four fingers and one with five...oh well).  I then made the huge battleaxe for the fighter from brass rod and the head from a warjack's axe from Warmachine.  At least the players are all happy with their models.

We're playing the 4.0 rules.  It's my first time playing so I don't have any hangups about playing it versus previous editions.  I do like how the combat is very much based on miniatures...in fact, it wouldn't be too hard to adapt it to be played without a grid.

All the figures are from Reaper.  The two "dragonborn" are from the Warlord line I think.  The Tiefling actually comes with three different options for it's lefthand: staff, wand, and orb.  I've seen a really cool conversion of it replacing the righthand with a futuristic pistol for a sci-fi rpg.  Thanks for looking!

Looks great, I keep meaning to kidnap and paint all the miniatures used in our D&D campaign, but it has not happened yet.

Halfling,Elf,Dragonborn,Human,Tiefling...would be a similar mix.

It's from Reaper's Dark Heaven line.
