I will be keeping my eye on these. I am not really interested in the cultist or gnolls. Speaking of, has anyone saw the sprues yet for the gnolls?

As an outspoken critic of all the minis associated with Frostgrave, I've only one thing to say: I like what I see so far. Lol.

Credit where it's due, these look pretty good from the little we've seen here. Plenty of time to derail my positive opinion, but I hope that's not what happens.  :)

More lovely kitbashing opportunities. Not really a fan of Naismith's sculpting, which is, IMHO of a very variable quality across the Fireforge, Gripping Beast, Frostgrave and (I think) the Conquest archers sets. Some really good parts - some really poor.
But he does sculpt some very nice heads. I'll be getting this set for those alone, and if the bodies, arms and equipment are any good, that'll be a bonus  :)

Just to clarify, the sculptor for these Barbarians (and the Gnolls, for that matter) is Giorgio Bassani, not Bob Naismith.

Thanks for the clarification Phil.
Naismith did the first two Frostgrave plastic sets though, yes?
Will be very interesting to see the differences in style with the different sculptor. The heads certainly look great :)

Yep, that's right, Cap - Bob did the Soldiers and Cultists. Glad you like the heads - I'll want to see some Wildlings in due course!  ;)

Despite the different sculptor, the Barbarians and other humans will be fully compatible in terms of components. The Gnolls, naturally, are a little trickier to mix and match, being monstrous animal hybrids and all - the head/neck joints are different, but I reckon the arms would be largely compatible.

I don't think anyone here was expecting the Gnolls to be compatible with the rest. :)
I am looking forward to the future of Frostgrave. Also hoping to get back into painting them. I have been busy with other stuff...
