2nd Republican Roman legion finished and WIP Iberians
« on: June 22, 2016, 11:24:12 PM »
Hi guys

Haven't been posting much lately, been busy trying to clear my painting Q, I am all caught up, so if you want to place an order, its a good time to do so.

Finished these 15mm Forged in battle Republican Romans on commission, I have to say, I quite like these figures, my own Repub Roman army is made up of minifigs, they do the job, but arent half as nice as these, all comments welcome.

Gunner,

Hope you don't mind me jumping on your post but I really like the Forged in Battle ancients and like you I painted up a very large Roman Republican army.

I hope you're ok with me posting a few of my pics.

Cheers

Bunny

Both takes on the FiB Romans are well executed and really show off the quality of the sculpts. I still have them sitting in a box overseas :P, but I might get my hands on some blisters later this year.

I think FiB really took on the Corvus Belli legacy and closed a gap.

I think some simple shield designs would improve the paintjob even more or maybe some shield transfers.

Very nice job on those, motivates me to crack open that FiB Pontic army I have and get to work on them
