Aedes Products
« on: January 21, 2009, 08:06:23 AM »
While I was googleing information, I noticed a superb model of building and I finally found that there's a spanish company that manufactures 3D stone puzzles of historical buildings. there's a large range with various scale but some could be used with minis.

I don't know the prices and they don't have a retailer in France or UK but as I know there are some peninsular adventurers over here, may be they can give us some hints about the products.

Some nice places for swashbucklers

I think I seen these in a shop in Edinburgh the other day. Looked good but no scale reference that I could see and very expensive so I quickly put the box back down. About £35 to £40 if I remember right.

The site gives the scale for most items, but, as you say, no prices.  There seems to be a standard box size and items are scaled to fit.  But as there are 3-4000 pieces and a price tag of, maybe £40, you could save time and money by buying resin.

I like the historical buildings thing however I can't really imagine myself trying to glue several thousands small parts together.

They appear to be made of cardboard and ceramic.

Their distributors link didn't work for me and no price list.

I had one of those kits once: They're really more HO and N scale sized, but mostly "fits the box scale" and not really any sensible or consistent scale. They're made of actual ceramic bricks. I like the Hirst Arts stuff better, but this has the advantage of being a dead ringer in the color department.
