After the success of making the Dorset cliffs and feeling the need for some samurai naval action I've decided to make a few small cliffs/outcrops for the coast of Japan.
The initial inspiration came from this photo below (taken from google images) and fortunately it is quite similar to the Jurassic coast in England's south west. There are of course many different types of cliff surrounding the coast of Japan but this one is a good starting point, expanding on what I've done before.

The first one is just a simple little roundish outcrop to get a feel for the technique and although it is very similar to the Dorset cliffs there will be some differences.
At the moment it is just the blue foam (with a figure and fune for scale) but this will get covered in texture to help with the above photos appearance. Then it will be painting and then the growies. It'll be the last two stages that will hopefully make it look like a Japanese cliff as opposed to a nromal western one

More to follow later today hopefully.
cheers
