Fellowship of The Ring
« on: 03 July 2016, 09:54:39 AM »

I don't seem to get much painting done for myself these days, so not had much to show. However, here's a little commission for a collector that I would be very happy to have in my own collection. These are finecast models and were not too bad - way too many undercut blobs to remove, but otherwise reasonable. I do have a metal fellowship somewhere that I would love to get stuck into if I had the time. Sigh.

Very nice work. I have the fellowship in metal but I've not I've not see these figures before. They look nice figures except for Aragorn, who doesn't look anything like the movie Aragorn to me.

Very nice work on those. A great "realistic" look that I would love to emulate but I always end up painting too bright and shiny.

They all are very nice. I do like the coloring of Gandalf's hat.

Great stuff!

As soon as I can get around to it, I am going to paint some Fellowship models for use with the Blood Eagle rules (I just have to finish my WIP Vikings, and some civilians, first  ::) ), and displays like this makes my fingers itch to get the brushes moving!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
