Map and Pix for the village in "The Magnificent Seven" (1960)
« on: August 01, 2016, 04:39:37 PM »
Looking for these online makes me feel like I'm trying to draw three cards to fill an inside straight - only I think I'd have better luck at that.  Beginning to think I'll be reduced to watching and repeatedly freeze framing the movie and reverse engineer this.  Before I invest all the time that will involve, i thought I'd touch base here and see if anyone here has had better luck with this.

Thanks,

JJ

I'd imagine you're best off watching it...pausing it, grabbing screen shots etc.  :(

You may want to get in touch with Sarissa Precision. They recently introduced an MDF version of the church from the movie. I'm guessing in their research, they might have done some of what you are looking for.

Dunno how accurate you want to be but this fella has had a go at his own interpretation of the set:

...and this may be useful in some way...

Thanks - I had seen that before - it is the town where Chris * Vin drive the hearse up the hill to Boot Hill early in the flick.  I'm looking for the village that Calvera is raiding, and where the seven go to fight.
