Malifaux Waldgeists and Gaki painted
« on: August 01, 2016, 04:45:38 PM »
Latest project, painted set of the plastic Neverborn Waldgeist models.  Make nice Warhammer dryad proxies, animated trees for horror gaming, or twisted treefolk for dungeoncrawls as well.

Really like these sculpts, they're much less bestial-looking than the old metal ones, while still being less human-shaped than most treefolk figures.

All those twigs and vines really show off just how fine the detail can get with injected molded plastics.  Quite impressive, easily as good as the best GW work in my opinion.

Also some Resurrectionist Gaki, doing their whole "hungry ghost" thing.

Nicely dynamic sculpts, and a good creepy aesthetic.

The Ringwraiths wish they were as menacing looking as these things.  :)
