
Men of the 88th Foot, Connaught Rangers, during the Peninsular Campaigns, for use in games of "Sharp Practice 2". All from Perry Miniatures & a combination of their plastic & metal 28mm ranges. These pictures are of Centre Company men. Light Company & Command figures - as well as a group shot - will follow in due course.
The figures have a campaign look, which I have done by giving them stubble, faded uniforms, an assortment of trousers, and a coating of dust to knees, elbows & feet. The Perry metals have a campaign look already, with patches, tears, creases & holes on the sculpts.
My customer will be doing his own basing to match in with the excellent French force he has already painted.
I had forgotten just how much work painting Napoleonics can be - all those straps, lace & piping... Phew!
