Primer for Enamels?
« on: August 05, 2016, 11:08:54 AM »
Hi All,

I'm using the oil wipe method for my horses and basing with Humbrol enamels.  Do I need to prime the horses first as with acryllics?  Or can I paint the enamel right onto the bare metal?

Cheers!

I have not used enamels for many years but I used to paint them directly on the metal.
