Merchants House - WIP
« on: August 14, 2016, 10:49:34 AM »
Hello all,

Very recently I discovered the resin buildings of Mini Monsters and I wanted to build a nice diorama with one them:  Merchants House. The general idea is to put it on a small hill at this moment, but I could also place it somewhere in a town (but then without the surrounding buildings. I even thought of making it a night scene, but that would make it very difficult lighting and painting wise as everything would become very dark probably.

Below you will find some of the pictures and progress I have done sofar.

Unboxing Mini Monsters Merchant's House

Glueing together

Scale with Frostgrave Figure

Filling the gaps with Vallejo Plastic Putty

Merchant's House in primer
Come closer, come closer and BURN!!

That's a very fantasy-ish house indeed. Scalewise, it obviously fits 28mm, although it clearly is a gaming piece first and foremost, with that footprint. It looks like a fun build: good progress so far.

I did not know this brand before now; I'll be sure to check them out.

Keep it up and us posted of your progress.

Oh; and welcome to the LAF! :)

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks for introducing me toVallejo plastic putty, I have never even heard of that before, it looks really useful with that nozzle delivery.
