I had a bit of a delay in finally generating progress on this one, but you know how it goes sometimes.
Painting the Ogroid Thaumaturge proved not to be fun at all, largely due to bad planning on my behalf and also because of stretching the job out far too long due to other commitments. To be honest, all that I can currently see are the bits that I should have been neater with, but at least its finished and fit for purpose now, onward and upward.
It is a fun model, full of strange menace.

There is some talk about the colour scheme and how oni-like the model is in
the associated blog post.
Next is the Tzaangor from the box. If somebody told me that a model of a magical man-goat-bird would be arguably the best miniatures in a set, then I would likely scoff. Not this time, they are fantastic figures.

In keeping with tying as many of these models as possible to my
Shonen Knives mythical Japanese force I plan to use these models as tengu in that force. Its not a bad fit really.
The blog post about their overlap with tengu is here.Lastly, a rather poorly composed photo of all of the horned Tzeentchians from the box. A bit crooked, but certainly vibrant at least.

Scuttlings next, probably. Or maybe a Hero. I havent decided yet.
Thanks for looking!
