Almost 8 years and 5 months after its conception, The Secrets of the Hidden Temple is now completed.

This set-up comprises the full original cast, and then some that have been added to my collection over the years.

I have plans about expanding some of the factions into full Pulp Alley leagues, but that is another project.

I am very happy to have finally reached this stage of completion with this - these LAF challenges and Painting Clubs are doing me well in terms of productivity!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I think it is safe to say that you took your time. lol
But the stuff sure looks awsome. Well done.

Sweet jebuz, then I have to start the project about getting the factions up to strength for Pulp Alley Leagues right away  :o

Well, probably mostly the 'good guys' (the archeologists - notably one or two female expedition members to be abducted the clever assistants), but one or two of the other factions will probably also need obne or two additional models.

Not sure if I can get that done on time for Attic Attack, with vacation abroad just around the corner, etc., but Horisont should be manageable.

I'll bring my own league (or two) along :)

Honestly just want to take a look at the table, as it looks very impressive. If we can have a game, so much the better, but no stress :P

Oh, I really like the idea of doing the underground areas like that. Great idea! Thanks for sharing.  :-* :-*

Thank you, Mila!

Actually, the underground area is going to be placed UNDER the surface; I have an 'elevated table' with foldable legs that sits about 30-40cm over another table on which the Hidden Temple can be placed. The legs have dowel pegs that fit into holes in the lower surface to ensure stability and no skidding.

I couldn't help myself - had to rebase the last minis, anyway  ::)

Here's the first.

And another one (I am aware, the bases are not exactly 'desert-themed', but I am going to use these in a large number of settings, and thus I use my 'all-round' solution).

One more, and I have run out of minis to rebase - and can start planning what models I want to use for the Pulp Alley expansion for this setup!

Lovely work, I especially like your board set-up. Is that an underground section on the black table?

Exactly - the 'Hidden Temple' is buried under centuries of sandstorms!  :D

Originally, I did not intend to rebase all the slotta minis contained in this project - but as time went on, and I got more and more hooked on using consisten washer-basing, one thing led to another, and this is the last slotta-based mini I had left, relating to The Secrets of the Hidden Temple:
