Apologies for threadomancy.

Really like those tree trunks. Are they scratch built?

No, they are from Snapdragon/Moondragon. resin tree trunks, drilled out and a K&M tree added. They come in different sizes and he sells them by the pack.

 - And they are fantastic - don't apologize - I love it when one of my threads turn into a treasure trove of shared information; might even have asked the Q myself  ;)

I know you've already chosen, but some people might like Vendel's wolves.

http://vendelminiatures.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=177

Tom Meier has sculpted some wolves as well.

Those Vendel wolves are great, thanks! I shall consider those for my next wolfpack. I think the Blue Moon ones should be used for the more savage Werewolf bands, and the more 'naturalistic' for the nobler 'humanistic' ones. There you have it - I can justify the purchase of either one ("You see, darling, this group is evil, and I need some very evil, savage looking beast to show that... " *wife rolling eyes* lol ).

Those are nice, too!  8)

A little bit on the large side (definitely 28 mm heroic, at least), but they may have been interbreeding with the lycanthopes  ;)

Those are BIG - but I also have some Julie Guthrie Grenadier Wolf Riders, and those might fit with the goblin mounts  :)

Well, got the Ral Partha wolves today.....

They ar bigger than I expected, I really would like to find some similar to the front one:

Left one is a Ral Partha, right one an old Grenadier (Julie Guthrie) Wolf Rider mount, the front one an old Grenadier (Julie Guthrie) Wolf, and the vampire bride is an old Metal Magic fig, painted more than 10 years ago (and now finally having a purpose   ;) ).

Hmmm, what about the DeeZee Miniatures Dire Wolves available from Wargames Illustrated?

Click the "miniatures" link on the right and they are near the bottom of the page:

http://www.wargamesillustrated.net/shop.asp

Saw them in the flesh and they look a bit smaller than other companies regular wolves, although I wasn't comparing so may be wrong.

If they are correctly scaled, 5' should make them a bit smaller than the Ral Partha, and a bit larger than the Grenadier ones, I think....

Real problem here is scale creep, I guess. The Grenadier wolves are from the mid 80's or so, and perhaps even 25mm.
