Hmm, they do look very like the foot sergeants bodies. Most of the heads look like they are from that set too. The two hooded ones look new.

Fireforge do seem to create a lot of kits from the same core bodies with just different arms. Which I find a little strange, as I thought it was the cost of the tooling and mold making that was the really expensive part for plastic figures. Therefore it would have been worth spending a bit more on the sculpting. Perhaps we are spoiled by the Perry's for whom the sculpting really is the cheap bit (as they do it), so they can put lots of variety on their sprues.

Hmmm. Another batch of recycled components with a couple of new heads and some shonky looking bow arms. Afraid I won't be getting these. So disappointing. Some new, different figures, bodies and heads would have been nice...  ::)

Take out the bows and many of them look to be mid rap battle.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Recycled bodies and awkward arm positions, shame on you, Fireforge! Don't you feel your customers deserve a product of the same level of your other great plastic sets?  :'(

A number of the same issues as their other sets- namely the weird poses. I think they're going for 'dynamic', but all they really get is uncoordinated.

I like them for individual skirmishers, not so much as battallion archers. They seem to be aiming point blank... lol

Useful to have variant heads at least, for mixing with other FF plastics. Might buy a box, even if I'd really need a sprue or two.

Probably only useful for mashups - use the MAA bodies with Perry WOTR or HYW or Frostgrave arms and the archer arms on sommat else?

Unfortunately I have to agree. The dynamic poses are too Hollywood.

Looking at them again, if you took a couple of the heads and the various bow arms from the Frostgrave soldiers set and put them with the FF foot sergeants set, this is effectively what you get - the set shown above. Same sculptor. Same style. More or less the same components.
Fireforge have pulled this trick with previous sets. I thought they had mended their ways.
I really liked their resin Kiev city militia. I really like some of the components in some of their sets.
But this endless repackaging of existing components into new sets, with the addition of just a few bits and pieces is basically a swizz. It's not going to win the company many friends. Pity.

They're on their way to becoming Warlord from a few years back (different boxes = same miniatures with different flag decals in the box...what a load of crap).  lol

Well now that's four infantry boxes for their western medieval range, with only two sets of bodies. Templars and Teutonic same bodies and mostly same heads arms and equipment, and now Sergeants and Archers same bodies and mostly same heads. Really disappointing :(
