Hullo all,
Been a while since I posted in this thread. Those 6mm huts are just sat awaiting a matte coat (I don't want to use my valuable Testors cans for this so trialling some other sprays) but I though I'd add my latest sculpted terrain project - alien succulents/trees

This is version 2 of these plants - I had a test run with turf foliage that a)didn't stick and clump as I wanted and b) I put on before painting, stupidly, so - total disaster.
I decided that I prefer the look of 'sculpted' foliage on things like this - reminds me of the old 6mm Snapdragon terrain.
The above still has a lot of sculpting to do - all of the 'trunks' will have a crown of foliage, then there's be small clumps on the lower parts of the trunks (hence the wee blobs of greenstuff on one at the moment) and a few clumps at ground level. Once that's finished I've got 4 more bases to do too:

Each of those bases has at least 18mm between the groups of trunks (my 15mm mini base size) and enough space front or back to park a 6mm group base.
The colour of the sculpey and greenstuff looks a bit organic already, coincidentally, but these will have red foliage (I like the pop of red to go with all my desert terrrain) and pale trunks.
Right, lots to do so better crack on!
