Harry does Dungeon Furniture
« on: September 03, 2016, 10:00:00 AM »
Sooo following on from my "Harry does Dungeon Tiles" thread in the workbench section here:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=86793.0

I need to start painting some doors, furniture and general dungeon gubbins to put in the rooms:

I have a boat load of dungeon furniture ..... some of it old lead, some of it old resin ... and recently I backed the fantastic Twisting Catacombs Kickstarter:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12

Hope you like it. :D

Here is possibly my favorite Twisting Catacmbs piece:

In no small part because in invokes memories of the greatest movie of all time. :D

I know it is a chopping block but I thought it was crying out for a huge cauldron of human soup (as in Conan movie) .... this one from one of the Frostgrave Nickstarters.

Can't have a dungeon without stairs .... Twisting catacombs did some great ones:

Great stuff. The old school pieces still stand proudly against anything released these days.

Yeah, some of them really do .... especially given a similar paint job.
I think they sit especially well with the Twisting Catacombs stuff as it has that slightly more cartoony feel to it that some of the older stuff has.

Awesome...I have an entire bin of dungeon furniture/dressing, which I'd greatly like to add to.  I missed out on the Twisting Catacombs simply due to funding.  Argh.

Thanks fellas. Much appreciated.

"The best thing about Heroquest is The Gargoyle" :D

If you have not watched this yet ... take six minutes out of your busy life and do yourself a favour ...

Anyway ... The Gargoyle. I confess I was not bothered about this miniature when I first saw it in the Kickstarter. Once I got it I immediately changed my opinion of it. Now I love it.

It also looks a bit like this illustraton form Deathtrap Dungeon .... which is a nice bonus.
