old stone church

 this are the first steps  of a new piece. this is a tipical stone wall very old that have sufered different damagaes along the time. I made it with das pronto

I think DAS modelling clay is a much underestimated modelling medium.

I have seen das clay in stores before and heard of its use, now after seeing it multiple times mentioned on this board I think I will pick some up.  How difficult is it to keep it from drying out?

It comes in sealed packs, which don't dry out until you open them.
Then you need to use the whole pack - but the packs are not that large.

Once opened I keep my DAS in sip-lock food bags, the sort used to store frozen food in the freezer. If it does start to dry out (I sometimes forget to seal it) I add some distilled water to the foil bag that it is sold in and leave for a couple of days.

I think it is a great modelling product - I prefer it to many epoxy putty's.

I must agree here, used it a lot myself for scenery and basing and it works a treat, plus cheap to buy from the works in the UK haha.

Looking great so far, very nice mix of materials from "skeleton" to "muscle" ...
