Cry me a river...
« on: September 15, 2016, 01:56:12 AM »
So a total rural setting this time...rough rocky terrain with woods & a river flowing into an eventual marsh.
Pics ready for an early start tomorrow.
Scenario is similar to the movie. 4 recon guys were compromised & had a hard contact after being caught over the border of Afmandali. Losing a man in the process of escape n evasion, they start at the river end & have to exit off at the marsh end, which constitutes their original crossing point.
Being pursued..the enemy have random entry points...so should be interesting!
AAR to follow...

Meanwhile the terrain, showing the exit point.

Damn, that is some very impressive scenery!
That's probably the most realistic water I've seen on a game table.

 :'( :'( :'(

I just decided to go with a great-looking cloth pattern for my river and put sculpted banks on either side. Now, I see this and think to myself: SLACKER!

Looks amazing -- love it!

That's superb. Your rock work is very effective too.  Any tips? Also,  how big are the sections?  They look like they're another 2'x2' ish?
