Victrix: Upcoming 28mm Hard-Plastic Ancient Elephants

From http://wargameterrain.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/victrix-upcoming-28mm-hard-plastic.html
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this earlier.
While I have no interest in plastic soldiers this is something I would definitely consider if I was looking for an elephant.

These could be good as long as there is the potential to have them without any bumpf (naked in other words).

I have to say the elephants look good but the best news for me was that they will be (eventually) getting round to some Gauls/Celts.  The current plastic offerings from Warlod and Wargames factory leave a lot to be desired.

Thanks for posting. That is a lovely sculpt with the advantage of being very light weight. I share the surprise in it taking so long for someone to put a nelly out.

Victrix are quietly getting on with producing ace stuff for ancients! This kit looks like fun. Hoping to get my hands on some Iberian cavalry any day now.

Thanks for that.  Great looking elephant.  Latest shot from Victrix shows the nellie with an additional pike armed crewman for a Ptolemaic elephant.    Great news about planning for Gauls/Celts.
