The figures are cast in good quality metal so they should be ok...

As long as you don't through rocks at them...

Try using the GW thin super glue (the one that comes with a brush in the cap) over the thin bayonets, swords etc. It makes quite a difference and takes away very little detail. The only real downside is it may mean venturing into a GW shop

Mike has been to Griffin Moulds along with Paul of Empress. They along with the excellent casting staff. Have now cut the Moulds to increase durability without compromising detail to the bayonets.

that's great news about the bayonets,I have lots of minis from this range and have had several broken in transit,guickly replaced by Empress,and several damaged in games I've held,so this is a welcome update,thanks Paul

I've been lucky I guess. Only 2 broken bayonets (and one broken sword) in a batch of 200+ figures. The bayonets are repairable with a 0.3 drill and some fine copper wire but it's a tedious job. So the news that further figures will have sturdier bayonets is fantastic.
Someone on this forum showed how you could replace a broken sword with a hairpin and some Dremel work. I can tell you it works like a charm but the resulting sword is a sharp as a real- life tulwar!

Col Snook and Paul together at Griffin Moulds? The wargamer in me rejoices at the thought but my wallet is shivering under the bed.

Great news to hear, I thought of mentioning something to Mike as I've encountered similar problems ith the swords which are very prone to bending and i'm just counting down the days until one snaps, other that delicate features I have no complaints!
