Very excited by this, but also a little disappointed. Where are the specialists? The illustrations of the monk, the mystic warrior the assasin and the demon hunter are terrific, but how can we buy them?
Are they going to be future releases, as the cultist captain? (I don't want my level 21 witch confronting that demonic two-head leech abomination without a demon hunter at his side!)

As I suspected (but waited for confirmation before saying), check back on the Nickstarter on the 18th...

Thanks for the confirmation. Feel relieved now. The barbarians are great, but I suspect a lot of us are, at first, more interested in reinforcements to our old bands.

Where can I find these illustrations?

They're at the bottom of the Nick starter page.

Is it possible to add the barbarian chief and some of the metal barbarian soldiers to the bundle deals?  ???

So it seems like the general trend for figures is that with each release we get a different skin for the various hirelings? Gnoll flavored hirelings, barbarian flavored hirelings,  but the wizards essentially remain the same unless a new wizard is introduced. Is this correct?

Each of the last three box sets serves the dual purpose of being an option for soldiers in a warband, but also being the basis for encounters. Several of the scenarios in the book call for barbarian 'NPCs'. As for wizards, a few additional ones have been done, the last Nickstarter saw a new Soothsayer and Elementalist, not to mention the Beastcrafter pack. In general though, wizards are so individualised that people are free to use whatever they want and the new figures are generally based on the artwork that appears in the books.

The wizards would be even more individualized with a plastic kit.  :D

I'd love to see a plastic Wizard box set.

Troops are troops, and can be used for any Wizard, but it would be nice to have a box of maybe 10 that you could assemble in all sorts of styles and ways.  :-*

What I want to know is when do we get an option to buy the mounted guy in the big bestie which is on the front cover the of the book of the book. That looks like a really cool thing and could be a great model...

I was hoping it would be part of this project but it does not seem to be.

I made this a few years ago for my cobblestone barbarian collection. DeePer miniatures elasmotherium. Change the rider with bits and pieces from the plastic kit and you're done. In fact I might buy a mammoth now to go with these guys.

Quite interested in this, as I like the barbarians more than the gnolls.

:'( :'( :'( So skint....  :'( :'( :'(

Oh well, who needs food?

Well if you are like a lot of wargamers (self included) then having a bit of a diet would be healthy...
