Wow, thanks for the comments. If I needed additional motivation to keep working on this thing, I just got it. I have stuff in the pipeline, so I'll try to update this thread BEFORE this year's over...I have a few more vehicles almost finished (well, one vehicle in six copies, but you probably guessed that by now). I might break one of my self imposed rules and post progress pics. Any interest in that?

As mentionned earlier, I wasn't intending to post WIP pics of my stuff here, but since it seems to interest you guys, here we go.

After finishing the Imperial Transports, I figured I might give my Rebels some support too. Since they're more of a commando force, transports weren't as appealing of an option. I once again turned to WW2 for inspiration and decided to build some kind of speeder jeep that could act as armed recon or command vehicle. I did a few quick sketches and started to build. Here's what I came up with.

3/4 Front

3/4 Back

Underside

They're not finished. In fact, most of the parts still aren't glued to the may body. Some important details are still missing too, like engine nacelles, weapon platforms or backseats, radio equipment, etc. Final detailing is also missing.

As mentionned, I once again built more than one (in this case, six). 3 of them are going to be armed recon (like WW2 airborne jeeps, with a laser instead of a .50cal), 1 will be command (with radio equipment) and 2 will be civilian (with different detailing and a regular backseat). Here's what the bunch of 'em look like (with FFG Stormtroopers for scale)

More to come soon. As always, comments are welcome.

Wow!

I'm in total admiration of the detail and precision in your work. I struggle to get two parts of the same thing to look the same never mind two parts of the same thing six times over.
