The Museum Props pack can also be used with the Souk or Market Place set to represent unscrupulous black market peddlers of antiquities. Not that our heroes would want to get involved with anything as despicable as this, "this piece should be in a museum"!

Lovely! These could be used in tons of Pulp Alley scenarios as plot points.  :-* :-*

They've been designed to be  multipurpose .
For example the larger items all fit in the glass cabinet or will work as floor displays ,and on the open top units. The displays for the smaller glass cabinet work in a similar way with the addition option of wall mounting two of them.
The stand of shields works in a similar way as there is a simple rack behind them.now you can have them on a low table,on top of the bookcase .Then by simply removing the base the make a wall mountable display .Alternatively a simple cut between each shield will turn them into three plot point markers.
The three bookshelf items are designed to fit in the shelves as in the picture .They are also intended to be free standing on table tops ,and they will also function as wall mounted items without conversion .
The statues/ busts are plot points as well as exhibits ,they are designed to fit on to the large produce item(Chris hasn't posted images of these yet) to make your market look even more exotic and to make the plot points part of the setting.
As mentioned the museum set is intended to cross over into the market or souk.Giving more story lines and flavour to the settings.
In addition two of the produce items are intended to cross over as museum displays giving you additional options.
By combining the shelving items and or the busts with the tables and market stalls ,and the museum crates.you can create an archeological dig setting.
The souk set has two styles of  cushion floor seats and loose cushions. Combine these with the open fronted market stalls and you have seating for a Sultans pleasure garden.
There is also an electric fan which can be constructed in several ways as an industrial free standing item or as a lighter two part table top fan, both versions can also be wall mounted to represent ceiling fans. You can also make a security camera by simply not attaching the fan blades/ head to the motor body of the heavier industrial looking fan. This can be freestanding or wall mounted and the 'camera ' can be Constructed at different angles to give a more big brother feel to your settings.
My intention was to design items that aren't one trick ponies, and make items that give value for money by being able to be used with the Exotic location sets ,and be used in other games and settings without the need for major conversion or kit bashing.
I've no doubt you'll find more inventive ways to use them.,than I've designed them for :D
Mark.

Mark has done an excellent job sculpting the 'props' for Exotic Locations. This combination of building, furniture and detailed castings is one that we are looking to adopt for future projects and we are already talking to Mark about getting started on the next one.

I was planning to post a photo each day, to make them last, but as Mark has posted such a great description of the other pieces, I'd best add the photos to go with them.

... that Tintin, he seems to get everywhere, too bad I don't seem to be able to get my hands on one!

EDIT: The Museum across the market from Rick's Place is the perfect location for another daring heist by the one and only... CATWOMAN!

Those extra bits look great. Think I'm going to have to add them.

Are we still talking about Catwoman here?

What do you think?
Is this the best option for Ilsa Lund in 28mm, or do you know of a better miniature to use?

I personally don't like that miniature's face, but the outfit and side-tilted hat are practically perfect; you can keep the body and hat and swap the head for one of the Statuesques', IMHO!  ;)

We have finally got the resin and metal castings back from our casters.
I'm very pleased with how they have turned out.

This is the set for the Souk or Market Place

This is the Museum Set

These are soft furnishings and a vintage fan for the Riad.

These are some fantastic pieces that David Phipps (Pulp Alley Designer), has designed for us. These include vintage telephones, mantelpiece clock, place settings, tagines and many more great pieces.

Full details on the Indigogo page: https://igg.me/at/exotic-locations

These packs are all available to pre-order at a discount as part of Indigogo campaign which closes tomorrow (Thursday 8th December 23:59 PST).

... should also have mentioned that I have finished designing the Riad Set Dressings pack.

This includes two different sized pools (which work well with the metal fountain casting), beds, couches, tables, cupboards and a kitchen range.
