L3/35 Tankette
« on: October 19, 2016, 07:31:20 AM »
I don't know about you guys, but this is the most adorable machine of war I've ever seen!  :D

What do you guys think? Could this be the smallest armored vehicle in history?

I think the Ansaldo MIAS was even smaller but was it really a tank? Definitely cuter though!

WW2 of course not Great War.

Just one of a host of similar tankette designs spawned by the Carden Loyd.

As noted above, there were a number of tankettes, one man tanks (not the same thing) and armoured carriers developed during the interwar period, of which the L3 was but one and certainly not the smallest.

Well I'll be! The Ansaldo MIAS is even smaller! Get them any smaller and we'll be talking about Matchbox toys!
Not gonna lie, I'd like to see World of Tanks make some side-games with some of these adorable "tanks."  :D
