Hellboy Good Samaritan
« on: October 24, 2016, 02:52:52 PM »
Does anyone know where i could get a Revolver that could be used as the Good Samaritan on the 40mm Jim Bowen Hellboy? I think it's the only thing missing from the figure and i can't doubt i could ever sculpt the bloody thing (awaits AndyM saying do it yourself) lol

I suppose any large enough revolver would do? Heresy do a weapon set IIRC. Maybe the Judge Dredd weapon sprue. You may want to look at some of the Warhammer 40K conversion bits sites, but those are probably too large. Just google "28mm revolver" I suppose.

I have emailed these guys to see what size this one is. As it's a 40mm figure it would need to be bigger than a 28mm revolver, so this one might work.

If all else fails you could have it 3d printed.

I think they would work. I bought a few and they are much too large for normal 28mm. Lovely sculpts as well.

Perhaps a flare pistol as they have larger barrels? Most of the 1/35 German infantry plastic sets are likely to include one. (but do you think I can find an online picture of one?, oh no, no, no, no...)

EDIT: I think the left hand pistol on this photo is the Tamiya one...

Should have looked longer!

If they dont work out, give me a shout.
I have a weapon sprue that I have just had cast up with a big handgun on it.
It just might work with a little gs to make the revolver part.

In fact, I need to take a picture of the sprue later so I will see if my Hellboy woks well with it.
