Some of my supers.
« on: 18 November 2016, 10:13:12 AM »
OK I've finally taken the supers plunge. Fun miniatures for me and the boys and I thought I'd share some pictures:

I've improved the faces on piledriver and thunderball since seeing this photo the faces are small with soft detail in my defence.

There is a bit more on the blog, though not a lot more.

Foamcore box with printed sheets on top. After much frustration I've come to realise that even my expensive inkjet isn't up to the job and get my printing done at the local copy shop.

Ah, the Jackie Gleason Reed Richards pose.  "One of these days, Susan.  POW!  Right in the kisser!"  Because Reed is a jerk.  :)

Although to be fair, when he says you're going straight to the Moon, he means it's time to visit the Watcher again.

Nice Goblin!!  IMHO the comic version was so superior to the movies.

Love em!  I really like the setting.  Feels like we are right there in NYC with them!

I have seen 'clix on this board for years, after seeing these lads last night I was actually checking some out on ebay. I really like the look of them with the clear base, very nice.

Check out the above link from what I posted on the Miniatures Pages previously on making buildings.

Very easy and great look!

Those heroclix, especially the early sets, really do look great when re-painted. Well done.

I am having a tough time posting images. Can someone help?

I have tried using pics stored through Google and Shutterfly, but I cannot get links with .jpg or other image extension, just links like the following:

https://pix.sfly.com/5Mtjwz

https://pix.sfly.com/wR4xcA

How do I get these links (and the images) to work with LAF's img tag?

Hmm still missing file extensions but if you right-click on the image and select View Image (i'm using Firefox), it displays the image on it's own and the URL it gives that ends with "/enhance" seems to work.

'Clix MODOK--a newer one! I prefer this beefier version to older ones!  :D
