Suitable figures for Arab Legion 1948 and Israeli freedom fighters

Looking for suitable figures for the 1948 formation of Israel in either 20 or 28mm, any suitable figures out there.?

I think that most world war 2 British would work is slight conversions.

I would think that a lot of Spanish Civil War miniatures could work well for Israelis? WW2 British with a few heads with shemag and agal conversions would do very well for Jordanians, as I think 1948 predates Jordanian adoption of Garand rifles?
