Brilliant work as always Steve. 

As an aside. Have you changed your varnish or the red paint you use?  I ask because lots of your recent photos show reds (and  few other colours) with a distinct sheen.  Perhaps it's a trick of the light?

My varnish is drying a slight satin now for some reason, but I like it. Some of it would be the bright lights I'm using for the camera work.

I'm lazy. I use the ready made ones from either North Star or A&M Army Supplies :-)
