They look good - I like the terrain on the bases.

I don’t know if they will be difficult to paint like this though? With the old WM figures cast in strips, they figures were almost 2D as they sides of the figures joined each other, and with these I always painted the two strips separately pre-basing.

These look to have a lot of overlaps, so brush access might be hard. I assume if it is, then you can modify the files so a few figures are separate, who can be added back in after painting?

I’m thinking 10mm is just to small for me, I’m going to resurrect my 1/72 fantasy projects.

 Hi guys

I’ve been inspired to resurrect my 1/72 fantasy project, have been messing around with printing 10mm fantasy, and been having fun with it, but I struggle to paint that small, I have lots of 15mm, and 28mm fantasy figs, but I’m just drawn to 1/72 for some reason, I’ve got a fair bit on the go in this scale, and have just picked these three projects to start with, high elf cavalry, the plastics a little fragile, these are mad3 from Zvezda Russian guard Cossacks, I’ll need to replace or fix the lances, and finish of a few details as well as the bases. Chaos foot knights, converted from dark alliance Cimmerians, and some Greek mythology inspired warriors, converted from the same Cimmerians and Caesar hoplites. Need to dust them off and start painting.

 Hi guys

Got a little paint on my fantasy hoplites, a bit to do on them yet, the shield decals were a pain due to the curve on the shield, scored them with lots of cuts with a hobby blade and used decal softener, did tge job in the end.

Undercoated the chaos knights, red or olive green? I’m sort of partial to the nurgle look.

Printed out some hobgoblins (free from thingyverse), a forest dragon dark elf (for scale, need to make him thinner, than I’ll print the whole army) and some green skin miniatures beastmen archers, will be adding some chaos Dwarves to the hobgoblins, and adding a lot to the beastmen, the details on the forest dragon and greenskin minis are a bit chunky as they are designed for 10mm, but I don’t mind.

Awesome, can't wait to see them finished.
25mm Goblins fit very well next to 1/72, I have to try that.
Where did you get the Beastmen at the bottom, are they 3D printed?

The beastmen are blown up 10mm greenskin miniatures, the hobgoblins are reduced 28mm from thingyverse.

Incredible conversions! I would love to see your Elf cavalry painted. Regarding your hoplites, they're among the very best conversions I've seen in 1/72.

Thanks guys

Calling these fantasy warriors finished, the base figure used for the conversions were dark alliance Cimmerians, with Caesar miniatures Greek heads and hoplons, and green stuff, also have printed out some nurgle themed minis to add to my chaos warrior conversions, they are also made from the Cimmerian figures.
