Latest Calpe Prussians 2017

Here are some photos of my latest Calpe Prussians, started in November, just finished basing last night.

Kurmark Landwehr Cavalry
Silesian Landwehr Cavalry
Pomeranian Landwehr Cavalry
Silesian Hussars
23 Reserve Regiment of Infantry, I gave this unit flags even though they supposedly didn't carry any.

My Calpe project will be on hold for a time as I am working on a Vimy Ridge Project for the 100th anniversary. Approximately 100 figures left to paint for the Prussians. Once they are done I will take pictures of the whole army, just under 1000 figures.

Wonderful figures and so well painted and based.

I also love Calpe figure and, one day, I must paint some more Landwehr lancers the excellent hussars.

Lovely    Very impressive and the bases are great too.

Calpe are quite simply the nicest figures I have ever painted.  I do not do Naps but grabbed a few of the Prussian command sets when they came out and they were a true joy.

Got them too and they really look great on the battlefield!

'Cos you've reminded me how wonderful Peter's sculpts are I'll order some of the new Calpe Saxon command figures today!
