Good, Bad and Cuddly scenario ideas?
« on: January 22, 2017, 01:46:10 AM »
I almost have a set of the Eureka Good, Bad and Cuddly Teddy Bears painted up and I'd like to try a game with my kids using the Eureka rules.

I'm looking for ideas that could give a good, simple scenario suitable for kids (they are 7). I've tentatively divided the minis in four factions of three bears:
1. the law
2. the outlaws
3. the cowboys
4. the furriners (see what I did there?) that includes a Panda from China, a Mexican bandits bear and a Canadian polar bear (or grizzly - not sure yet)

I have a half dozen MDF buildings I can use, including a bank and a saloon.

I've thought it might be as simple as a "honey" well striking it rich and they have to get as many buckets off board as possible, while preventing the others from doing the same.

I figured the folks here might have some other great ideas! :)

(Pics of bears coming soonish, I hope!)

Getting everyone to do the same thing (and stop everyone doing the same thing) is good (i.e. your scenario or a cattle rustling one), altenatively two teams pitted against each other (i.e. jalibreak or bank robbery) could also work.

I like the honey pot scenario concept but I must insist that Winnie the Pooh make an appearance - and perhaps some of his pals, too.   lol

Have fun!

Sounds like fun!  Maybe add a Ranger Smith type character (from Yogi Bear) to wonder around doing random things?  Or maybe not so random - he could harass whoever is in the lead a bit.

Obviously, we demand pictures.

You could have one group try to steal the honey from the bank.

"Honey 'em high" is a good name of the honey grabbing game. ;)

Honey em high, I like it! Painting has slowed some this week with starting a new job, but it's getting there!

Little Big Bear or a Town Called 100 Acres? I had to jog my memory (wiki) for heffalumps but while looking at Pooh villains it looks like Disney did a western Pooh feature that included Nasty Jack, leader of a no good, low down gang of horse thieves.  They were thieving horses.

*add- Since no one else said it, "Un-Fur-given". I don't like puns :P .
