So some of the same PLATOON minis now in close-up, albeit with another round of highlights to clothing/webbing and sans-LED lighting shine. These are all reference shots for me, what with having more to make, etc.

Btw, I've yet to work up the courage to do helmet graffiti, tattoos and insignia.......

Staff Sergeant Bob Barnes (played by Tom Berenger)

Sergeant Elias Grodin (Willem Defoe):

Francis (Corey Glover):

Big Harold (Forest Whitaker)

King Pin (Keith David) with pig

Sergeant Red O'Neil (John C. McGinley)

Sandy Sanderson (J. Adam Glover) with blooper

Still working on the rules as I'm trying to finalise a Non Player Force functionality for the VC Main Force Guerillas
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Well, on the subject of 'green'....

As used by other LAFers (see below for inspiring links) I have sprayed my vegetation with Goblin Green primer by Warlord Games. That's a lot of green! Am uncertain as to whether or not to spray the tops of the palms a darker green or, after painting the trunks, just give them a wash of earthy coloured matt paint (I'd normally use Citadel Agrax Earthshade but am nervous of that leaving glossy patches). I don't think I'll wash the bamboo but will just give it a drybrush of yellow-green.

Steve, maybe you should try the Army-Painter Shade instead of Agrax Earthshade. It is not glossy, I think.

that's a lot of jungle there mate!  I wouldn't worry about the agrax, it only glosses if you leave too much on.  Besides, with a little gloss in nooks and crannies.....it just rained!
