Excellent stuff Steve, only just caught up on the AAR (sorry Richard). Great stuff.

 The terrain works really well despite the current lack of palm trees. It reminds me of some of the scenesfrom The Mel Gibson Vietnam film whose name escapes me when they land and disembark from the helicopters.

Will look forward to seeing howi it is transformed by the addition of the palm trees. The miniatures look great as well. Top job.

Looking forward to painting the vegetation and completing some more figures (though presently side-tracked assembling some FIW).

Today I bought a pot of Windsor & Newton Galleria Matt Acrylic Varnish to see if it will defeat the shine on the minis. We shall see.
