What's your unit frontage in this army? I'm not sure how big the Reaper fishermen are, but one of the Bones ones might make a massive (and cheap!) fish-god ...

It is a freebie Happy Meal gift from McDonald's (I think).

Both armies are great. Very creative and something not many people on the planet own (maybe you are the only one?). The creative use of the happy meal toy is also wonderful. Would make me smile constantly during game.

I've seen one other army using the Pendraken Fishmen - but it was more in the Classical Greek stryle.

Thanks to the suggestions of CP Models for some fishy figures, I got an order in last week, and today had a nice little box waiting for me when I got home



Already got these chaps sprayed, and hopefully will got some basic colour on them tonight, ready to get them on the table tomorrow!!

Quick start on the Squid Faces, just a green wash over the grey base coat. I aim to lighten the colour of these quite a bit more.



Size wise they fit pretty well - about the size of the water elementals, and a good bit larger than the normal 'infantry' which was the intention as they are classed as Large Infantry.

The Deep Ones will take a bit more work as they have tabs for slotta bases, and when I tried bending these flat I was worried about the ankles breaking - this probably wasn't helped by the figures being cold. I'll have a proper go at those at the weekend, as they are very nice figures with a lot of detail.

I've been working on these reinforcements (and some others) on and off for the last week or so, and I think they are now pretty much done (except the giant)



The figures are from a mix of manufacturers, and scales. 3 bases of Deep Ones (28mm from CP Models), Coral Giant (10mm GW), 3 bases of Tidal Swarms (28mm CP Models), 4 bases of Nokken aka water sprites (15mm Magister Militum) and some Druids (10mm Pendraken)
