A couple of new gribblies, Dark Young & a Flying Polyp
« on: January 31, 2017, 03:40:06 PM »
Did these a while ago, but never got around to posting them. Both are the Fenris resin pieces (not the Cthulhu Wars plastics, more of which later) & are really nice models.
The resin Dark Young was a bit of a mare to assemble, with the tentacles forming a bit of a jigsaw of attachment points on top, but with some Milliput & plenty of swears it came together nicely.

Many thanks Supervike & Mason, yes, some choice sailor talk always gets me though those 'where did that bit ping off to' & '******* superglue' moments.
Putting together the Dark Young (easily my favorite Lovecraftian gribbly, even if it never got anything more than a mention in the fiction - was the first description in a Robert Bloch story?) made me think that Cthulhu Wars rather steep price might be worth it for the pre-mades.
